Cliveden now part of the Network to Freedom
The National Park Service has recognized Cliveden, a National Trust Historic Site, as part of the “Network to Freedom,” a program that preserves, researches, and presents the history of the Underground Railroad and the struggle for freedom in America. This qualifies Cliveden to pursue federal grant funds to develop programming based on the research of the Chew family papers and puts them in the good company of other Network partners in the region, such as Historical Society of Pennsylvania, Johnson House, and the Quest for Freedom program.
