The Philip Johnson Glass House, a National Trust Historic Site, was recently analyzed by John Maeda, the new president of the Rhode Island School of Design, on a YouTube video beautifully produced by Cool Hunting. Maeda calls the Glass House “a wonderful illusion. When you hear ‘the Glass House’, you think of a glass house, but the Glass House is just one of the different amusement rides of the Philip Johnson mind.” It’s one of the results of Conversations, a series of moderated discussions with thought leaders from around the world meeting at the iconic Glass House for a day.
